Sam Borden writes that despite a 28-16 victory over St. Louis on Monday, the defense — for both good and bad — is still the story for the Giants, and the offense remains somewhere between inconsistent and nondescript. The Giants did enough to improve to 1-1, but Tuesday’s day-after review of the game film will not be cheerful.
