Rhoden got him to sit in the barber’s chair as part of a continuing series of interviews. Brown discusses his support of Muhammad Ali during the Vietnam War, the current N.F.L. labor situation, his concerns regarding the rule changes that reduce the physical nature of pro football, and why he left the game (Raquel Welch?) at age 29.
