Ever wonder how ESPN and the X Games manage to construct such an elaborate facility so quickly?
Well apparently, it's an ongoing process. Workers tightened some screws and took a general overview of the BMX and Skateboard Park course Thursday before the Skateboard Park finals.
The transition-based concrete and wood-hybrid course has been used throughout the day. The final eliminations in the Skateboard Park took place shortly before the repairs.
Ben Hatchell, Kevin Kowalski, Pedro Barros, Raven Tershy and Omar Hassan advanced to the finals.
Overall, the X Games requires 42 days to set up and take down, as well as a few spare moments between competitions to maintain.
